The Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off is now in its fourth year and I've entered for the second time with Dragonshade.
The competition, organised by fantasy author, Mark Lawrence, aims to give indie authors of fantasy fiction exposure through a rather vigorous vetting process. Ten fantasy fiction blogs are tasked with assessing 30 independently (self) published fantasy novels from which they must choose just one to enter into a grand final. All ten blogs will then vote for an overall winner.

The competition is a good one for readers to follow as it throws up some high quality books that frequently miss the spotlight. So if you're a fantasy fiction fan looking for new worlds to explore, be sure to check out past winners and finalists, as well as the long list of entries for this year.
This year, I've entered my latest novel, an epic fantasy called Dragonshade. It will be judged worthy, or not, by Fantasy Book Review.
Best of luck to all the entrants! I'm looking forward to finding more fantasy reads myself.
